Compromise

All I ask is just a little time, a little patience, a little understanding, a little trust and belief. Just a LITTLE. I never demanded for anything. Learn to compromise because it cannot be just love that this relationship is running on. It too involves all the things mentioned here.

Please help me. Lets not wait until I have to go down on both knees to beg you to love me the way I love you.

Last night

Did you know that I'm jealous of those other girls? I've never been jealous and I don't know how to show it. I just keep quiet and let jealousy sink in sometimes in me. Have you ever wondered why people become jealous? I don't think it's just about wanting to get what the other person has. It's also hoping to get that same feeling, same ecstasy of being able to hold that person. When you are jealous, you want to be the other person.

I am too filled with love for you now that I can't keep it anymore. No matter what I say, I know I still cannot and will not stop this feeling. And I know I don't want to. I love to love you more if I could.

Hold me tighter and let me know you still need me. You are who I want to love. You are who I dream to be with.

Lord, how do you love an imperfect person?

Lord teach me how to love an imperfect person. Remind me that each person You send my way is unique. That they are perfect on their own. Lord, You said You love each and everyone of us whole heartedly. I want to be like You, Lord, but I find that it is difficult to love a person who hurts you and takes you for granted. Enlighten me Lord, that such people need me more because they need someone to understand them. Help me to be more understanding, Lord. When i couldn't find a reason to go on with our relationship, clear my mind and remind me of the wonderful character that person has. Let me be optimistic and think of the good things about him. Remind me not to be cruel with my words. Let me express kindly how I feel, explain properly my emotions. Help me to put my pride down and apologize when I hurt someone with my words or actions. Teach me to be a better person, Lord. Teach me to be more loving and more caring. Amidst all the pain, help me believe in the person and in the fact that things will get better. Dear St. Valentine,

Thanks for listening. I know I don't always pray to you but thank you for sending me that little miracle last night. Well probably he wouldn't have moved in his place if I didn't tell him about it but at least he came to me. And for a moment there, I felt that warmth of love again even for a short time.

Blue Valentine's

I thought Valentine's would be different for me this year. But I guess you're not really a romantic guy like I thought you'd be. We don't have to celebrate Valentine's like the rest of the world do on the 14th of February, but it would be nice if we just do something to show that we haven't forgotten or put that date aside.

I just realized that Valentine's isn't cliche. It actually depends on who you want to celebrate it with. And this time I really feel like celebrating Valentine's day, with all those mushy cliches. Anyway, I hope you like the flowers. I know there are some guys who aren't comfortable getting them but I just want you to have one to make it different this time.

I suppose the color red won't suit me this holiday. Black is just too emo. I think Blue will do.

Five Things

If there are five things I want you to learn from the relationship, I have compiled them in a short list below. I hope you remember them and take it to heart.

1. Love the person the way you want to be loved - If you want people to respect you, then it goes that you have to show respect too. The same goes with love. If you want to feel loved and be loved, then show the person that you love them. Love that person the way you want them to love you.

2. Trust and believe in the person you're with - They say to be trusted is better than to be loved. Trust is in another concept that is related to love but it stands on its own. No matter how many times you get hurt or disappointed, believe that there is always something good that happens and there is still something to be trusted in a person.

3. Not everyone you meet is here to hurt you. - Yes the past hurts so much. But always remember that it is the PAST. You're proud that you've gone through the worst heartaches and still stand up and show the world your battle scars. But what's the point of showing off if you haven't learned from them? You can only close yourself and act so cold for just a short time, never forever. Not everyone is here to hurt you. You're just hurting yourself, and the people around you, in the process.

4. Don't take it personally - If you hear your friends comment on the things you do, or things didn't work out the way you planned it because of them, stop yourself when you think you're going to get hurt. Your friends are here to support you and trust me, they're the real friends you've got. Never overlook what they tell you because they mean no harm. Instead, take it smoothly and work on your attitude. You can show them how good you can be.

5. Make time - The "I'm really busy" excuse has been used over and over and it's getting tiring to hear the same thing. You can be busy and make time for the person. Yes you have a career and that's a good thing. But to lose the one you want to share your success with in return for success is never a good idea. You may not be the most organized person but you can slip an hour or two to see someone you love. You don't know how you can make time? Just look at what I do and understand how.

I hope these things are clear. I don't want the next person worrying about the same thing I did. All I ever want is you, is that too much to ask?

Two-weeks notice

A resignation is the formal act of giving up or quitting one's office or position. It can also refer to the act of admitting defeat in a game like chess, indicated by the resigning player declaring "I resign", turning his king on its side, extending his hand, or stopping the chess clock. - Source: Wikipedia.Org

Is there such a thing as resigning from a relationship? Well it's commonly called break up but what about the actual act of resigning from it? The point wherein you just want to stop and not have anything to do with romantic relationships for a while, or even forever.

Is it easier to say that I want to resign from my job than I want to resign from this relationship?

I've never had this urge before. The feeling that the only way to get out of the situation is to let myself go. You know that feeling that you want to end it already? Stop the pain, stop the happy thoughts. And you're the only person I can say this to:

I always tell myself that every time I get to that highest-point, the happiest moment in my life, I'd whisper to myself that I wish I'd die already because I'm happy and I'd rather be in that moment. The best moment of my life is with you.

Where are you hopeless romantic?

I used to gush over really romantic love stories. I used to try and imagine myself in those lovey dovey scenarios and hope that it would come true. I used to giggle and be kilig with those cute, heart wrenching romantic movies, events, and text messages.

Now, I wonder where did all those gushing have gone to? I can't seem to feel it anymore and it's the love month. Am I turning into a hopeless cynic?

It is always best when God speaks to you about love:


If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
