I was at a photoshoot earlier and I asked the photographer how is the wedding photography business for him. He said business is good but not much wedding this May (since it's the elections?). And he told me if I plan to get married, I should get married now while prices are still low. Equipment, venue, food and even the photographer are starting to get expensive.
He said an average budget for a wedding of 200 pax is about 600K. I choked on that one. In my head I'm only thinking of 100 people for a church wedding. Just a simple yet elegant wedding, with friends and family me and my future husband are close to and knows us well. Anyway that price is a shocker.
Hmm.. I wonder if it's more economical to just live together with your partner than get married?
