Forgiveness

I got this from my retreat group On Fire. Someone from the group sent this and is looking for an answer. I guess each and everyone is wondering until when do you have to forgive someone.:

"How come, when you try to hold on and pick up yourself,

something or someone will keep trying to pull you down.

When your painful past happens to you the second time around,

the weight becomes too heavy because you are not yet completely healed.

Something that I learned - God said, forgive those who have sinned againts you...

But how many times do you have to forgive and experience being crushed?"
