I don't know why some people like this song. Well it does have a nice melody and the words are easy to follow but then when you read through it, it's just sad. I keep telling myself I want to be number one to that person I am with. First in any thing or whatsoever.

Anyway, why do some people want to settle to be Number Two? And why are there people who are looking only for the next second best? Is it because they know getting Number One is hard so since Number Two somewhat fits the bill, then that's that? Why not be the Number One or better yet, be the Only One for that person? That sounds better I think.

Don't settle to be number 2. Always want to be number one in a person's life. Don't let yourself be the rebound, don't let your only role be is that you have to cure the heartache. Spare yourself from the pain of a broken heart. Find someone who will treat you as their Number One.
