To Let Go

To let go does not mean to stop caring,
it means I can't do it for someone else.
To let go is not to cut myself off,
it's the realization I can't control another.
To let go is not to enable,
but allow learning from natural consequences.
To let go is to admit powerlessness, which means
the outcome is not in my hands.
To let go is not to try to change or blame another,
it's to make the most of myself.
To let go is not to care for,
but to care about.
To let go is not to fix,
but to be supportive.
To let go is not to judge,
but to allow another to be a human being.
To let go is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes,
but to allow others to affect their destinies.
To let go is not to be protective,
it's to permit another to face reality.
To let go is not to deny,
but to accept.
To let go is not to nag, scold or argue,
but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.
To let go is not to adjust everything to my desires,
but to take each day as it comes and cherish myself in it.
To let go is not to criticize or regulate anybody,
but to try to become what I dream I can be.
To let go is not to regret the past,
but to grow and live for the future.

Heart of the Galaxy

In the process of breaking someone's heart.. I also broke mine. All I can hear in my head is his name and my thoughts turn into deep sighs. His songs just keeps playing and now that the sky is turning gray, I think I'll be joining the rain in its melancholic dance. He's far away and even though I know he'll be alright, I know he's breaking down inside like me.

Angel, I still couldn't let you go...

A Prayer

Lord, take care of this heart. It's the only one she's got. It's been thrown out, left hanging, shattered and broken into pieces but she still mended it with the same delicate fingers, brushed with the tears for every time she gets hurt or hurt someone. She prays for this heart, Lord, that it will finally find the love that she have always hoped for. You said that we put everything in Your To-Do list and You will work on it in Your own Time. For your Time is always perfect, Lord. You alone keep the secret of surprises. That's why, Lord, I hope You could take this heart with You. Hold it dear, hold it close, as we all know You would. She asks that You keep it with You first, until such time that You know she can already care for it herself. And when the time comes that You finally find someone who will share the love with her, lead her to that love so that her heart won't be the only one she'll care for, but also for the one gift You will give her.

She can't wait to love that person, Lord. And right now, she's already thankful. Amen.
