Not Yet

3:31 Pm - She looked at her watch and wondered what she should do next. The idea of home seems welcoming but why should she hurry? "I don't want to go home yet.." She took out her phone and searched for his number.

4:15 Pm - It was a nice breezy afternoon and walking seems to be the best idea. She walked ahead with a skip and she glanced at him and giggled as he tried to catch up to her. They walked side by side, and she gets this feeling she'll love the way the day will go. For a moment there she felt her hand brush against his and she felt the urge to hold his hand. The sky was blue and the sun was shining... it would be nice to hold someone's hand that afternoon.

4:28 Pm - "I wonder what he's thinking.." She thought as she takes a bite from the donut. His eyes seemed distant. He'd watch people from the glass window infront of him, throwing some witty side remarks. She observed him and quietly she thought this man seems so much like her.

"You want to go back to the car?" he asked her. And with a smile, she obliged.

5:14 Pm - The air was warm but they didn't mind. They sang along with the songs playing in the car. He rummaged for the other CD's and she smiled. The boy beside her was like a child, smiling and laughing at little goof ups in the player. Maybe not a boy, but a man.. a man who's been through alot, his heart toughened up and his emotions reserved. As he checks each CD in the case, she slowly leaned her head on the shoulder of the man beside her.

"this feels nice..." she thinks to herself. She let her thoughts wander off as she closed her eyes and she felt his arm take her into a half embrace. Being closer to him, she can hear his heart beat and a smile formed on her lips.

5:51 Pm - Her phone alerted her of new messages, her mom telling her to go home. She checked her watch and sighed. Time flies fast when you're having fun. How many songs have they been playing and singing to? She wanted to stay and talk some more but the messages on her phone kept coming in.

He noticed the frown on her face. "Are they looking for you already? Do you want me to take you home now?" he asked her. She looked at him and saw the pleading look in his eyes, wishing she won't leave yet.

It's now 6:00 in her watch. The sky is turning to dusk and the stars are twinkling in the sky. Beside her the man she thought of the whole day and spent a wonderful time with. She checked her phone again and sent the message to her mom. She leaned her head again on his chest, took a deep breath, smiled at him and whispered..

"not yet..." :)
